Designed to provide users with an essential and easy-to-use navigation tool, the GPSMAP 79s features a completely innovative design with a scratch and condensation resistant screen, 26% larger than its predecessor and with a resolution of 2.5 times greater. The GPSMAP 79s comes with a preloaded world basemap and supports optional BlueChart g3 charts to enhance user navigation while exploring new routes.
In addition to a tilt-compensated 3-axis solid-state compass, the GPSMAP 79s uses reliable GNSS with support for multiple constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS) to enable precision and tracking of data in all the world.
