Besenzoni Super Compact gangways

Besenzoni Super Compact gangways

The Besenzoni gangways are an important element on many boats of all sizes and types.
The series production range is transversal and goes from the basic and essential Manual Gangway, to the high-end of the three-stage retractable telescopic Gangways with hydraulic operation, passing through the External Hydraulic Gangways and the Rotating External Gangways.

The new thing is called Besenzoni Super Compatta PI 691 and it is a retractable hydraulic gangway in polished or powder coated stainless steel, with manual stanchions in stainless steel and rope, full teak platform and non-slip inserts with the particularity of having an extreme compactness: only 1.2 meters with a height of 15 cm, which means a minimal footprint! The length -of 1.5 meters- is also very respectable, ideal for sailboats or motor boats or maxi rib with little space to install the containment box. Also perfect to be inserted into a platform since it slopes upwards, facilitating access on board from the dock.

Solutions that minimize overall dimensions were required not just for small boats.

Precisely for this reason, with the same concept, two other models of retractable gangways were born, the PI 563, with a more square and modern design, and the PI 583, with evergreen oval tubulars, but for much larger types of boats than those that mount the super compact. The length in the standard model is up to 8 meters, but obviously, like all Besenzoni products, it can be made to measure. Despite its size, thanks to a compaction system of the 4 telescopic sections, the space required for the box is very reduced compared to the versions of

They are catwalks with three stages. Both models tilt up and down. The walkway is full width (edge to edge) and reaches up to 50 centimeters. Remote control and control panel for cabin control are supplied as standard, but movement can also be managed through the Besenzoni Control Device app, which can be connected to 8 devices
