The renowned Lowrance®, the great specialist in electronics for fishing since 1957, has announced the launch of its new high resolution ActiveTarget ™ real-time sonar system, which displays images of fish in real time moving in and around structures while reacting to the presence of the bait.
This new technology brings the best real-time sonar features to the ultimate HDS® LIVE high resolution fishing system, as well as HDS® Carbon and Elite FS displays, providing ActiveTarget real-time sonar connectivity to a wider range of displays and pricing options.

Lowrance has improved the small “delay” or delay in high resolution that exists between what actually happens and what the screen reflects.
ActiveTarget real-time sonar displays high-resolution images of fish movements in real time and in full detail. Thanks to this immediate response, fishermen can adjust the presence of the bait to get the fish to bite and know if there is more than one predator in the area.
The ActiveTarget sonar has three view options: Front, Bottom or Scout mode. Front and Bottom views allow anglers to locate fish at the front or bottom of the transducer, while Scout mode offers an extremely wide top view of fish structures and activity in front of the transducer, which is perfect to find schools and large schools of fish.
ActiveTarget is a perfect complement to Lowrance’s Active Imaging ™ 3-in-1 sonar, featuring spectacular, high-resolution views of SideScan and DownScan Imaging ™ for structure searching, and high target separation from Lowrance’s CHIRP sonar.
