Yamaha targets carbon neutrality by 2050 in its Environmental Plan.
Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has announced its Environmental Plan 2050, setting a new target of carbon neutrality in all its business activities throughout the life cycles of its products, by 2050,
The 2050 Environmental Plan re-establishes the objectives of the Yamaha Motor group for 2050, and the objectives to be met for 2030 and 2035.
Yamaha will formulate a medium-term plan every three years and will promote initiatives and activities with these objectives.
Its basic objective will be to further reduce the CO₂ emitted per person when using one of its products; use efficient energy sources and switch to energy sources with low CO₂ emissions; and promote the use of personal mobility with low CO₂ emissions.
