A surfer says about meeting a sunfish in Laguna Beach, California
Rich German, who was practicing SUP, Stand Up Paddle, off the coast of California, was allowed to go into the sea from an observation position and thus see it.
The sunfish is an animal that can measure more than two meters and weigh 2,000 kilos. The one found by German and his friend Matthe Wheaton is clearly one of the greats, since the reference is his boards, which measure four meters, and the specimen is not far behind, judging by some photos
The area where it was found is a protected part of Laguna Beach, less than 200 meters from Main Beach.
