RESCUE OF STRANGED WHALES
Two humpback whales were found stranded on the Atlantic Coast of the Province of Buenos Aires. Both were rescued by personnel from Mundo Marino, Civil Defense, Naval Prefecture. Some 30 people helped make the rescue successful.
One of the stranded last Sunday in New Atlantis, is a female humpback whale of 9.8 meters 8 tons of weight: in total. The second, is a male of 8.5 meters and approximately 7 tons, appeared in La Lucila del Mar.
