Sailboat stranded off the north Oregon coast: two bodies found
A sailboat was found stranded on the sand near Nedonna Beach, at the north end of the city. Finally two bodies were found, which would be a married couple.
Last Sunday a sailboat was thrown by the waves near Rockaway Beach. A Coast Guard helicopter was dispatched and found the sunken ship in the sand when it arrived.
Fire crews soon located a woman lying on the beach, near a boat that was not breathing.
