New Wally 43wallytender
Wally Yachts, part of the Ferretti Group presented the new 43wallytender.
The 42-foot model adds a “center cabin” concept that is different from previous models.
And it includes a wraparound glass windshield that offers protection on three sides, with a T-top above.
The front section of the windshield has an angular curve but is made from a single pane of glass, a design element that the builder accomplished without the need for a center strut, and which improves visibility from the helm and advances design aesthetics.
The 43wallytender can carry up to 12 people at a speed of 40 knots.
Features include protection from the elements for the driver and guests, standing head room, a separate shower head, and a variety of possible deck configurations.
A laminated sail mounted along the T-top’s carbon fiber superstructure allows for outdoor living, while providing relief from the sun.
The yacht was built with carbon fiber and composites in Forli, Italy.
The No. 1 hull, which debuted in September 2020 in Monaco, was painted “crocodile green” in honor of the builder’s first sailing yacht, Wallygator.
The open space aft can be used to carry gear, or as a sunbathing area with a dinette and drop-down table.
With the side opening the cover space is extended
It is powered by two 380 HP Volvo Penta diesel engines, and with an upgrade to 440 HP engines allows it to reach top speeds of 40 knots. A Seakeeper stabilizer is also available as an option.
