Garmin announces the new line of GPSMAP series combination chartplotters with 7 “, 9” and 12 “displays, also available with integrated sonar module.
Comprised of 723, 923 and 1223, the revolutionary chart plotters with a sleek and robust design have a high resolution display and an even more powerful processor than the previous series, for a smooth and immersive user experience.
Designed for a wide range of configurations, the new GPSMAP series features slim edge design with a glass display, which also allows for edge-to-edge installations – the glass design can be mounted flush or flat to offer an even smaller footprint . For clarity and readability in sunlight, the 9 “and 12” models offer high resolution IPS (in-plane switching) displays with crisp, clear colors that can be viewed from all angles, even with sunglasses. . polarized. In addition, the 7 “and 9” models have respectively 50 and 60% higher pixel resolution than previous models, for ever greater detail.
The performance of the new GPSMAP series processor is evident, allowing even faster and more fluid use of the displays related to the various sensors installed on board, such as depth sounders, radars, cameras and Digital Switching.
These fast and responsive systems are also compatible with the integrated 10 Hz GNSS antenna (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo), for an accurate and precise GPS position that updates 10 times per second.
The xsv combination versions are equipped with an integrated 1kW CHIRP technology sonar module, which ensures clear target distinction down to great depths.
These new plotters are also equipped with CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü technology and new high-contrast color tones for even easier and clearer distinction of targets and structures.
The new GPSMAP 723, 923 and 1223 are also compatible with the entire line of Garmin PanoptixTM products, including the revolutionary Panoptix LiveScopeTM sonar, which shows in real time what is below and in front of the boat.
The new GPSMAPs are characterized by unlimited connectivity. In fact, they have the J1939 port for easy integration with engines and the HTML5 platform, which integrates Empirbus technology, to control and manage home automation on board such as lighting, air conditioning, navigation lights, entertainment. on board, security systems, bilge pumps and much more from the comfort of your own screen. The new plotters are compatible with the OnehelmTM platform, a single screen where you can view and control all the systems supplied by our partners.
Finally, NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity allows you to interact with multiple systems, such as autopilot, VHF or AIS, quickly and easily.
They also include specific functions for navigation such as Laylines, Pre-Race Orientation, Race Timer, Start Line and provide data fields dedicated to the world of navigation such as Compass Rose, Vector Heading and COG, Heading, Speed of the wind and tidal data.
These new Garmin chartplotters feature an ANT + connection to communicate with the quatix® 6 marine smartwatch, the gWindTM Wireless 2 transducer, the GNXTM Wind display, and many other onboard instruments.
