Zodiac eJET 450 , electric semi-rigid
Zodiac has presented its 100% electric project. It is the Zodiac eJET450 powered by an electric motor and a turbine transmission.
It was about time. A semi-rigid 100% electric, without oil, without gasoline, without maintenance,… and from the hand of Torqeedo marine electric motors
The Zodiac project has been carried out in collaboration with the most popular marine electric propulsion engine development company -Torqeedo- which manufactures the 50 kW Deep Blue electric motor and thanks to a latest generation battery (used by BMW in the i3) of 40 kWh.
Autonomy
The Zodiac eJet 450 has an autonomy of 90 minutes at 24 knots or 8 hours at 5 knots of speed.
It can reach a top speed of 30 knots thanks to HydroJet technology. Its float is made of very high quality neoprene-hypalon.
The Zodiac eJet 450, which in principle seems to be induced to present itself as a special tender for medium and large boats.
