Tankoa Yachts presented its new Sportiva Line signed by Luca Dini, whose first model is the Sportiva 55.
“At Tankoa – underlines Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of Tankoa – we always try to think of new products capable of satisfying the constantly evolving needs of customers in our market segment. With this concept in mind, we met with various designers to exchange ideas and views on new products. With Luca Dini we found an immediate harmony of ideas that materialized a few months later with the first concept of the Sportiva 55. It was love at first sight! ”.
“The elegant and authentic thoroughbred external lines of this 55 meter, according to designer Luca Dini, express the sporty nature, reflected in the ‘tails’ on the sides of the upper deck and in the bow section inspired by the automobile world. . The style is rigorous and timeless and deliberately contrasts with a design designed for casual contemporary living. ”
The beach club, which is actually more of a bathtub than the main deck, takes up considerable space, where there is a sunken pool on the aft deck and access to the spa area (with gym and sauna) on the lower deck, as well as the garage with lateral transport for aquatic toys.
Accommodations include 4 ensuite cabins located on the lower deck along with the galley, while the crew area is forward.
The main deck layout is asymmetrical, with a circular dinette connecting the aft deck to the saloon, and the owner’s suite, moved to port, is equipped with a starboard gangway with chaise longue, Jacuzzi and private sauna.
The unusual choice of a central staircase leading from the foredeck (reserved to the owner) to the bridge deck, characterized by a sky lounge, an extendable table and a relaxation area on the aft deck designed to become a cinema outdoor .
A 7-meter tender, the service tender and the jet ski are stored on the foredeck, hidden from view on the sides.
Its “suite by the sea” concept offers an innovative yet flexible design that helps keep gross tonnage below 500GT.
The terrace is partially protected by the rigid roof, and features a wet bar near the bow hot tub and ample areas for sunbathing.
The Sportiva 55, with its steel hull and aluminum superstructure, can reach a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 16.5 knots.
Its range, at an economic speed of 12 knots, is 3,800 nautical miles.
The Sportiva 55 can also be equipped with hybrid propulsion and in this case the engine room can be moved forward, so that the guest cabins on the lower deck have access to the spa and beach club.
