SailGP Bermuda: US-Japan collision
Dramatic video footage taken on board as their courses intersected on stage 3 of race 4 on day 2 of SailGP Bermuda.
In the collision, Japan’s starboard bow was raised around the bend, but unfortunately hit the US port’s carbon rear forestay, which cut through the thin section of the hull like a knife slicing through a slice of bread.
