Cruising Yacht Club of Australia invite owners and charterers of eligible boats to participate in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race (RSHYR) starting at 1pm on 26 December 2023.
It was fantastic to see the return of many interstate and international competitors in 2022. Two-Handed fleet continues to grow each year and we welcome all the new competitors to our blue water classic.

• Tuesday 26 December – RSHYR Start and Family Day in the Sydney Race Village – an ideal location for your family and friends to watch the race start live on the large outdoor screen.
• Wednesday 27 December – From noon, the Hobart Race Village opens with daily live music, Q&As on stage, food and beverage outlets and an Information Desk staffed by our Finishing Partner, Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania. A great place for family and friends to await your arrival.
• Sunday 31 December – Prizegiving at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart at 3pm.
• Sunday 31 December – New Years Eve – Watch the 9pm fireworks for younger family members and then see in the new year with the midnight fireworks and live music, all in the Hobart Race Village.
