The health situation of the Covid19, the restrictions at regional, national and international levels force this decision to be made by the organizing committee of the regatta, which is made up of the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club and the Real Club Náutico de Valencia
The OptiOrange 2021, which was scheduled to be held from March 4 to 7, is canceled due to the current crisis and evolution of Covid19, as well as health restrictions established at the regional, national and international levels.
The health of the sailors, coaches and as well as the technical staff is the main priority of the Organizing Committee.
On the other hand, both clubs announce the launch of the virtual OptiOrange Valencia 2021 regatta.
The regatta will be held on the basis of the Virtual Regatta online simulator from March 4, being the first international virtual regatta for children under 15 years of age.
