Ocean Photography Awards 2020
Winner of Ocean Photographer of the Year Presented by Princess Yachts Announced
Princess Yachts, the UK’s largest yacht manufacturer, was featured at a prestigious new event dedicated to ocean photography: Ocean Photography Awards.
Joining forces with Oceanographic Magazine and the nonprofit SeaLegacy, photographers, filmmakers, writers and strategists have worked together with the goal of engaging one billion people in conserving the oceans.
The innovative collaboration has made Princess Yachts an official sponsor of these first awards that focus exclusively on celebrating the best amateur and professional photography of our oceans around the world.
The virtual awards were held this November 19, where six photographers won awards in seven awards, reduced from more than 3,000 initial submissions of the competition.
Nadia Aly, was named the 2020 Ocean Photographer of the Year.
