Jules Verne Trophy. Gitana’s team is on standby
Maxi Edmond de Rothschild is ready to win the Jules Verne Trophy, the world record.
The first attempt resulted in an abandonment after a collision with a UFO on November 27.
Since then, the ship has returned to Lorient where it has been pulled out of the water, repaired and strengthened to the level of its appendages.
Franck Cammas, Charles Caudrelier and their four crew are now waiting for a weather window to open.
