The engines are warming up in the Italian J 70 Class, which for the 2021 season is finalizing the organization of a race circuit that, this year more than ever, will lead the crews in a true Grand Return. from Italy.
The season will start from an unprecedented location for the J 70 Class, the Marina di Nettuno, just a few kilometers from Rome, the Eternal City, which will fascinate participants with an unprecedented mix of history and sport.
The Neptune event, scheduled from April 30 to May 2, will be followed by a stage in the Adriatic Sea: after the Ancona stage, in 2018, the J / 70 Cup will be based in Rimini from 11 to 13 June, thanks to the joint organization with the Rimini Yacht Club.
The Italian circuit will be further developed in July when, from 9 to 11, the Class will host a location loved by the sailors of the J / 70, the Fraglia Vela Malcesine, on Lake Garda, already invited to the J 70 European Championship. in 2019., at the end of which she had established herself at the top of Claudia Rossi’s Petite Terrible ranking.
The Malcesine test will act as a warm-up for crews that, in August, will want to compete in the World Championship in California (August 7-15) or the European Championship in Denmark (August 27-September 4).
Grand final of the J 70 Cup season in the Tyrrhenian Sea, where between October 1 and 3 the winner of the Italian Open Championship in Punta Ala will be crowned, but also that of the J / 70 Cup Circuit 2021, which will take place on the honor roll of Mauro Roversi and his J-Curve.
