Former Starbucks boss luxury yacht dock in St George’s
A $ 120 million luxury superyacht owned by the former head of global coffee giants Starbucks has found a vacation spot in Bermuda.
Pi, a 254 foot long yacht, was seen docked at St George’s yesterday.
The superyacht is owned by Howard Schultz, who led Starbucks as CEO and President from 1986 to 2017.
Schultz has a net worth of $ 5.2 billion and is credited with turning the company from a Seattle-based company to an international corporation and the world’s largest coffee shop chain.
Pi, originally called Syzygy 818, was built in the Netherlands in 2019 by shipbuilders Feadship and designed by Jarkko Jämsén of the Finnish group Avian.
She has a top speed of 18 knots, a crew of 18 and can carry 12 passengers.
Pi also comes equipped with a touch and go helicopter pad and a glass bottom pool.
