A fire destroyed the sailing yacht Obsession II of 34,2 meter . The flames broke out in Chalong Bay,Thailand.
The flames broke out around 3pm on Monday 20 May, when the Royal Thai Navy received the alarm and sent the Tor 111 and Tor 272 boats to the scene which, together with a vessel from the Pearl Center Foundation and the Sorn Chon 4005 , units of the Region, tackled the fire.
The exterior design and naval architecture of the Obsession II are by Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design. The sailyacht can accommodate eight people, and at the time of the accident she was engaged in charter activities.
