Charlie Dalin, the skipper of Apivia, has become the IMOCA GLOBE SERIES Champion, for the second season.
A remarkable achievement which confirms that he has been the most consistent performer in the Class in 2022.
Charlie Dalin followed up a stunning year in 2021, when he took line honours in the Vendée Globe, by winning each of the first three races in the calendar this year – the Guyader Bermudes 1000 Race, the Vendée Arctique-Les Sables d’Olonne and the Défi Azimut-Lorient Agglomération 48 Hours – and then finished runner-up in the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe.
