POSSIBILITY OF EXTENDING THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE UNTIL OCTOBER 9th AS A RESULT OF THE NEW FIV DIRECTIONS
The Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano will open its doors to the long awaited pickup of the regatta material. After the pause imposed by Covid in 2020, when it became mandatory to send the material directly to the homes of the yachtsmen, this year we see the return of the long awaited meeting of the SVBG volunteers, busy with the organization of the regatta, and the yachtsmen, who will be able to go to Barcola every day from 9am to 7pm, until October 9th, to collect the bag filled with gadgets and the regatta documents, mascone and class flag.

For over fifty years the registrations moment has always been symbolic for many of the regatta volunteers, and the fact that it can be relived, despite social distancing, allows us to look at the future with optimism and reinvigorate our great tradition of hospitality and sharing”.
The SVBG headquarters will be open to the yachtsmen every day from October 1st: access routes and distribution of materials provided by SVBG will allow operations to be managed in maximum safety. Meanwhile, the organizing committee is looking into prolonging the time period to register online, assessed by the FIV Federal Council: once it has been made official, this will allow the Barcolana to keep the registration dates open until October 9th.
This will also make it possible to postpone the registrations for the linked regattas, starting with Hera Trophy Go To Barcolana da Ravenna, which already has about thirty boats participating and more may be added. Even Barcolana Classic will benefit from this postponement: the space for the moorings along the Rive for the vintage yachts has also been increased. All boats registered for the Classic will be able to access these special spots (even those normally moored between Muggia and Monfalcone).
All registration procedures of the events connected to the Barcolana and the Barcolana itself can be carried out on the following website: www.barcolana.it. There is also a call centre at the disposal of all the yachtsmen (+39 040 9820433, from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm). And from October 1st, it will be possible to collect the gadgets and documents.
