The podium places are defined in the Alicante Nautical Week

Boronat in Open Foil, Sánchez in Bic Techno Plus, Mari in SUB17, Sira Martínez in SUB15, Suarez in ILCA 7, Cebrián in ILCA 6 and Ravie in ILCA 4 caress the title in Alicante

Second day with the wind again as the protagonist, sometimes exceeding 25 knots of intensity. Three tests for the Open Foil, one for all ILCAs and zero for Bic Techno and Raceboard

The first installment of the 54th Nautical Week reaches its final stretch, after closing the second day today that has once again had that strong Poniente wind that has exceeded points of 30 knots of intensity, greatly conditioned the committee’s program. Even despite this, three tests have been closed for the Open Foil and one for all the ILCA categories, while the Bic Techno and Raceboard have remained on the ground, for which the majority of the classes are defined as podium seats.

Boronat and Aranzueque play the title in Open Foil

The Open Foil were the first to go out on the water and the only ones to have closed the day with three tests. José Luis Boronat (CN Jávea), with partials of 1-2-1, remains the leader with 6 points after discarding. With a difference of 2, Jorge Aranzueque (CN Santa Pola) is located, signing numbers today of 2-1-2, while Javier Clement (CN Santa Pola) moves away from the positions, adds 16 points after finishing today with three third places .

Much to decide at the BIC Techno

The Bic Techno have been ground today as a result of that strong wind. This class has only one completed test, the only one that could be held on the opening day.
Therefore, the third and last day of the Nautical Week that will be held tomorrow, Monday, December 7, will be key to knowing the podium places.

With that single test completed in Carlos Sánchez (CN Santa Pola) he commands in the BIC Techno Plus, while Carlos Mari (CN Jávea) and Andrea Sira Martínez (RCN Valencia) do the same in the SUB17 and SUB 15 respectively.

Gonzalo Suárez at ILCA 7, Mariano Cebrián at ILCA 6 and Joan Ravie at ILCA 4, closer to the title

Very complicated day for the ILCAs, which is why they have only been able to complete a single test which, together with the two from yesterday, add up to a total of three completed tests.

In the ILCA 7, Gonzalo Suárez (CN Altea) continues to impose his law. Today he has added a new partial victory, three out of three, and is left with 3 points. Leonardo Collado (RCN Calpe) is second with 7 points, while Antonio Carrillo (CN Altea) is third with 8.

Joan Ravie caresses the title at ILCA 4

The campellero Joan Ravie (CN Campello) caresses the title in Nautical Week. Third triumph in Alicante waters and increases his advantage to 10 points over his immediate pursuers: Raúl Santiago (CN Altea) and Antonio López (RCN Torrevieja), both are in that second place tied with 13 points.

For the third and last day, the top start is ahead of the first test of the day, with the aim of being able to complete any more test than those foreseen in the program. The awarding of trophies for this first series of the 54th Alicante Nautical Week is scheduled for 4:00 pm, except for last minute changes.
