The never ending flight of the 69F Class continues to Torbole where, just a week after the conclusion of the Act 1 of the 69F Youth Foiling Gold Cup, the Circolo Vela Torbole is ready to host the Grand Prix 2 of the 69F Cup.
Seven international teams are ready to enjoy three days of intense racing, which the typical Lake Garda’s weather conditions could make absolutely unforgettable. Among them FIN1 Racing, winner of the Grand Prix 1 held in Malcesine less than one month ago and leader of the overall ranking. Led by Allan Noreegaard, the Finnish team will face the same opponents who fought until the end in the previous event: the runner-up Groupe Atlantic (FRA), with Clément Cron as skipper, and the third classified, as well as winner of the Fairplay Trophy, Katana Sailing Team (SUI), led by sailor Alexander de Weck.
Three teams that boast great experience in the 69F Class, experience that is not lacking either to Oceana Vivo (GBR) with Zachary Blomeley as skipper and team leader. The entry list is competed by CER Banque du Léman (SUI) with Alexander Ott as skipper, Team Pirogovo (UAE) with Alexander Ezhkov at the helm, and Kirill Frolov’s Team Ubex (ESP).
Races, scheduled from friday up to sunday, will be managed by the expert PRO David Bartol and by the Race Director Dede De Luca, both in the 69F Class since the beginning, The race course will be defined each day on the basis of the weather conditions. As usual, the event will assign valid points for the overall ranking of the 69F Cup.
The final moment of the 69F Cup Grand Prix 2 Torbole will be the prizegiving, scheduled at Circolo Vela Torbole on sunday afternoon.
