Young Azzurra leads the Persico 69F Grand Prix 2.2
With four victories out of eight races, the young crew of the Young Azzurra immediately took the lead at the Malcesine Grand Prix.
After yesterday’s forced stop and one morning on land waiting for the wind, the Malcesine test got underway with the dispute of eight tests, with a south wind that never exceeded 10 knots.
A wind of sufficient intensity to allow the boats to lift in the foils downwind, but which tested the ability of the crews to take off and continue flying, as well as designing the best tactical geometries on the offset sides against of the wind.
The skills of the young Azzurra have been amply demonstrated, recovering with perfect maneuvers and with the so-called correct tactics, a certain indecision at the start and friction speeds above 21 knots sailing in foiling.
