Chris Bertish plans to sail by hydrofoil, across the Pacific Ocean, alone
Chris Bertish, a South African big wave surfer, a modern day Magellan, plans to hydrofoil, with the help of a kite, across the Pacific Ocean. All alone, for two months.
Bertish plans to ride the same boat that he used to solo SUP 4,500 miles across the Atlantic in 2017. This time, he will have a foil and harness the power of the wind with a hand kite. The 2,850-mile journey will take you from Half Moon Bay, California to Oahu, Hawaii.
