Freighter splits in two in the Black Sea
A ship’s cargo is enveloped by an anomalous wave, which breaks in two, separating the bow area from the rest of the hull.
The incident took place in the waters of the Black Sea, off the coast of Turkey.
The video was filmed by on-board cameras on the bridge, at the moment of impact with the wave that split the ship in two, and the crew launched the Mayday.
The Ukrainian ship sank, and three sailors lost their lives in the accident.
