Located just a few feet away from the water’s edge, the waterfront spectator experience will offer stunning views of the high-speed foiling F50 catamarans as they take flight on Lake Michigan. Waterfront Access guests will be treated to live race commentary, big screens, concession stands, an awards ceremony, and a dedicated fan shop stocking league and team merchandise, including must-haves such as caps, tote bags, limited edition event t-shirts and much more.
Waterfront Premium
Watch all the action from an elevated position in the bleachers. Situated in an exclusive part of the race village, from this vantage point you will have spectacular views of Lake Michigan, and a front row seat to the big screens accompanied by live race commentary. You can also enjoy a complimentary meal & drink from one of our concessions partners.
Waterfront Platinum
The Waterfront Platinum environment is undoubtedly the place to be for any adrenaline sports enthusiast while on land. SailGP has partnered with City Experiences to provide the official on-water fan experience for the United States Sail Grand Prix | Chicago at Navy Pier.
Official spectator boats will offer the closest vantage point to the racing and allow fans an unrivaled view of the world-class athletes and cutting-edge F50 catamarans as they compete at high speeds on Lake Michigan.

Register for free to bring your own boat. Once registered, you will receive an e-newsletter with all the essential racecourse details. Your boat will be positioned approximately 100 meters outside the racecourse boundary. Live commentary will be provided over VHF.

Purchasing a premium SailGP flag will get you a breath-taking view of the action, this package includes:
