Transat CIC: the brilliant return of a legendary regatta

Transat CIC

For the first time in eight years, the “mother of transatlantic racing” returned to the ocean racing calendar. An event much appreciated by all sea lovers, the Transat CIC has left its mark on history.

From Sir Francis Chichester to François Gabart, from the arrival of Éric Tabarly to the successes of Loïck Peyron, it has shaped the legend of many skippers. This new edition, contested in epic conditions, was no exception to the rule. With the support of the CIC, the Lorient Conurbation, the Brittany Region and numerous enthusiastic partners, the transatlantic has remained true to its history. It has crowned three great champions of the discipline, Yoann Richomme (IMOCA), Ambrogio Beccaria (CLASS40), Patrick Isoard (Vintage) and has established itself as a great popular success. Boris Herrmann and Sam Davies complete the podium in IMOCA, as well as Ian Lipinski and Fabien Delahaye in CLASS40.
