THE YELLOW ALERT FOR QUEMAO CLASS IS ON

The 6th edition of the most awaited event of the year, Quemao Class presented by Billabong’, is getting closer and closer, and now, with the yellow alert on, all eyes are set on Lanzarote.Right now the days December 17, 18, 19, and 20 are being considered for the development of the event. The weather forecasts are increasingly favorable and the Quemao wave is starting to reach its most extreme conditions, ideal for the dispute of this event that offers a unique spectacle.

One more year, the best surfers and bodyboarders in the world will meet in La Santa, Tinajo, to face one of the most powerful and dangerous waves in Europe. The champions of the last edition, Aritz Aranburu (BASQUE COUNTRY) and Amaury Lavernhe(REUNION ISLAND) have already confirmed their attendance and are getting ready to defend the title of champions.

There will also be athletes of the caliber of Manuel Lezcano (LANZAROTE), Joan Duru(FRANCE), Cristian Portelli (LANZAROTE), Mike Stewart (HAWAII), Eithan Osborne(USA), Tanner McDaniel (HAWAII) and Miguel Blanco (PORTUGAL).

We remind you that the warning format is based on a system of color alerts. The orange alert refers to the waiting period; the yellow alert, the current one, is activated with the event attempt. The reports of the four possible days for the development of the event will be studied and, if they continue to be favorable, the green alert will be activated, which indicates the confirmation of the final date, the two days chosen for the dispute of the event.
