BWA Yachting is delighted to confirm it’s become a ‘Friend of the Bucket’ for the 2023 St Barths Bucket Regatta.
The Bucket Race welcomes the finest sailors from across the globe and will be taking place from the 16th – 19th of March around the tropical Caribbean island of St. Barths.
Each year, St. Barths hosts this invitation-only regatta, bringing the beauty of nautical glamour to its zenith. For the duration of the event, a variety of sailboat brands, alongside luxurious yachts and superyachts, will congregate in Gustavia’s iconic picture-postcard harbour, which is certainly a sight to behold.
The Bucket Regatta has been described by Forbes magazine as “a gathering of swells” in previous years, boasting over a quarter of a century of rich history and unbreakable Corinthian spirit. While the first Bucket Regatta took place in Nantucket in 1986, since 1995, it’s been held in St Barths, with the competing fleet growing significantly in recent years. In fact, as many as 40 superyachts have gathered to take part each March.
BWA Yachting has been providing yacht services to captains, managers and crew for almost 20 years, offering guidance on the increasing demands of managing modern superyachts. They provide assistance with everything from clearance procedures and berthing reservations to provisioning, logistics, fiscal advice and more, making them an exciting Friend of the Bucket.
Francesca Fenucci, BWA Yachting’s Chief Communications Officer, said: “Everyone at BWA Yachting is incredibly proud to be given this opportunity from the team at the St Barths Bucket Regatta, and we’re delighted to be joining other prestigious names in becoming Friends of the Bucket. We’re really looking forward to the 2023 event and can’t wait to explore everything it has to offer.”
“On behalf of the Bucket Stewards, Friends and participating superyachts, I welcome and thank BWA Yachting for their enthusiastic support”, remarked Event Organizer, Peter Craig. “It is indeed a great pleasure to have this esteemed company on board”.
