The Great Tuna Race 2021 is loaded with news
Calendar of scientists and fishermen from all the Spanish coasts meet to investigate the behavior of marine animals.
One more year in which the best scientists and fishermen in the country meet in an annual event with the intention of knowing better the behavior of marine animals. A series of sessions that will take place every month in a location on our coasts.
The pandemic has served to unite many ties between different associations, and thus make this fantastic work easier. The Great Tuna Race- Simrad, is one of the most revealing events in the world, it is not about a competition, but rather about investigating tuna and promoting sustainable and responsible sport fishing.
This test is recognized by the IGFA (International Game Fish Association), the most relevant world association in terms of recreational fishing. This facilitates the alliance between the Great Tuna Race and the brand of plotters and sonars Simrad, an important union for the nautical electronics company.
