Luna Rossa
A new partnership born to create a training program, specifically aimed at young sailors. The world of “Olympics” and “America’s Cup” will be the main training grounds to prepare for the most demanding challenges in sailing. The athletes from the Foil Academy will represent the pool of potential talents in the preliminary selection of the America’s Cup Youth and Women’s teams.
Max Sirena – Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Skipper and Team Director: “The team is thrilled to collaborate with the Italian Sailing Federation to implement the Next Generation Foil Academy. This series of clinics and training sessions will be essential for the growth of young Italian sailors who will be increasingly involved with foiling disciplines, and it will bring sailing to an increasing number of enthusiasts in search of innovation and excitement in this sport. The project will involve the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team at 360 degrees, starting from the Design Team who will support the Olympic Team both in a technical and technological capacity. The main goal of this initiative is to promote a movement that is formative for new generations of talents and Italian sailors.”
