It is already official, the Maeloc Championship of Spain of J70 will take place in the waters of the Herculine bay, with the organization of Marina Coruña and the Real Club Náutico, between May 14 and 16. The Vigo fleet of the class, of which it is the monotype of high competition fashion at an international level, was a decisive factor for La Coruña to be chosen, in the national assembly of the class it has opted to involve the city of A Coruña, since It is considered essential for the development of the class at the national level.

The best J70 units from Spain and Portugal have already confirmed their participation with their luxury crews.

The elite of the Spanish-Portuguese J70 fleet, skip their usual venues: Vigo or Barcelona, ​​to compete with all the weapons available at the foot of the Tower of Hercules.

The Nacional is scheduled to start on Friday, May 14, at three in the afternoon, to have a very long day on Saturday starting at the edge of eleven thirty in the morning, and on Sunday to start an hour earlier, in order to leave everything seen for sentencing at two in the afternoon and celebrate the closing day at the Marina Coruña facilities.

Coinciding with the dates of the Maeloc Championship of Spain, other cases of the United States will be held in Annapolis, that of France or that of the Nordic and Baltic countries. The objective, like the event in La Coruña, is to qualify for the European Championship held in Denmark and the World Championship organized by the California Yacht Club in the United States.
