Drone footage taken by a lifeguard shows a 1.5m great white shark stalking then darting beneath the board of pro surfer Matt Wilkinson off the coast of Sharpes Beach at Ballina in northern New South Wales
Surf lifesavers were operating a drone overhead and were able to broadcast a warning from the aircraft’s speakers.
