Next up is the latest episode of SailGP’s Deep Dive podcast, during which hosts Stevie Morrison and Freddie Carr, together with presenter Lisa Darmanin, argue newcomer team Switzerland must show clear improvements in the second half of the season. Speaking about the team, Carr said: “There’s no excuse – they’ve got the data, they’ve got all the skill, so they need to start the boat properly and get in the mix.”
Lewin-LaFrance sisters named Rolex Sailors of the Year
In third is the news that Canada SailGP team athletes Antonia and Georgia Lewin-Lafrance have been named Sail Canada’s Rolex Sailors of the Year for 2021-2022. The award, which has been given annually since 1986, is awarded to athletes who have provided global recognition to Canadian sailing and Sail Canada.
