SailGP
The countdown to the start of SailGP’s 2024/25 Season has begun, with just 100 days to go until the season opener in Dubai.
The Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix presented by P&O Marinas will take place on November 23-24, with the F50 fleet reuniting for battle on the iconic Mina Rashid.
The event will mark SailGP’s third visit to the famous UAE city. Two different teams won SailGP’s previous visits – Australia in Season 3 and New Zealand in Season 4. This means the competition will be wide open when racing gets underway on November 23.
The F50 fleet will compete across a five fleet race format before the top three ranked teams proceed into the winner-takes-all Final to decide the event champion.
Ahead of Dubai, SailGP is holding a four-week long pre-season training camp for the full F50 fleet – allowing new teams and old to put their F50s through their paces ahead of the season beginning in earnest.
The 2024/25 Season is set to be SailGP’s most expansive yet with 14 events across five continents, featuring new events in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland and Auckland, as well as a return to Great Britain.
