The most exciting racing on water returns to the European coast for a summer packed with high-speed, high-tech racing paired with glamorous Après-Sail entertainment. With tickets to events in the United Kingdom and Germany selling fast, the global racing championship is pleased to announce official on sale dates for back-to-back stops in Saint-Tropez and Geneva – hitting shelves the end of this month and the beginning of April.
SailGP CEO and co-founder Sir Russell Coutts said: “We can’t wait to bring SailGP’s unique style of high-speed, close-to-shore racing back to Europe in just a few month’s time. With a handful of new venues on the calendar plus returns to fan-favorite destinations, we’re expecting racing fans to turn out in force to experience the very best of SailGP. This year we’re excited to offer even closer viewing experiences, plus new premium partners, live entertainment, and more.”
Together with title partner Rolex, SailGP makes its long-awaited debut on the pristine waters of Lake Geneva from September 20-21. Premium fan experiences will be offered in partnership with the iconic Après-ski experience and hospitality brand La Folie Douce. Fans can expect an unparalleled atmosphere, including the legendary La Folie Douce show featuring performance artists, lounge and electro music, free-flowing drinks and food made by Maître Cuisinier de France and Executive Chef, Franck Mischler.
Returning to Saint-Tropez for the fourth time – SailGP’s unique style of Riviera racing will light up the shoreline from September 12-13. SailGP has once again partnered with luxury lifestyle and hospitality brand Nikki Beach as the event’s premium partner — bringing fans an unparalleled experience that combines front-row views of the exhilarating race with the vibrant energy of a beach club, all set against the stunning backdrop of the French Riviera.
