The Coast Guard has put out a huge fire on board a sailing vessel used as a charter for tourists off the coast of Lampedusa.
At the time of the fire, there were 30 passengers and 2 crew members on board the sailing ship. All the people, after being rescued on board, were escorted by a vehicle to the port. The sailing ship, completely destroyed, sank.
