Persico Cup 69F, debut and victory for Young Azzurra.
A test won by Young Azzurra was enough to seal the victory of the ITAS Assicurazioni Grand Prix 2.2 of the Persico 69F Cup.
In a Malcesine with no wind – absolutely unprecedented condition – the U25 crewed hull composed of Ettore Botticini, Federico Colaninno, Francesca Bergamo and Erica Ratti and assembled by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, made its debut beating out young and experienced people, and immediately making clear the potential of a mature, focused and trained crew: “We are satisfied – said Botticini – as I have already pointed out, we train a lot but alone, and in this event we feel the effect that has to be in the fray. Our balance, our training works and this is the excellent news ”. The team will already be competing in the next stage as well,
The second place of the ITAS Assicurazioni Grand Prix goes to FlyingNikka 47, in search of important points for the classification of the circuit, the third place instead for the RHKYC Team Agiplast, the guys from Hong Kong who after a long stay in Italy to train and Competing in Persico 69F they prepare to pack their bags and go home, where they will find their monotype ready to receive them in their training sessions and the goal of being on the 2021 circuit.
