PALMA INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

The IDI and BYBA start the commercialization of the nautical fair to be held at the Moll Vell in Palma
The Department of Energy Transition and Productive Sectors, through the IDI (Institute of Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands), and BYBA (Balearic Yacht Brokers Association) begin one more year the organization of the next edition of the Palma International Boat Show that will take place from April 30 to May 3, 2021. After a year without a fair due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19, the two organizations begin to work on next year’s nautical event, an edition marked by changes aimed at professionalizing the fair model, and the security measures imposed by the pandemic. The event will be held in its traditional setting, the Moll Vell in Palma, and aims to be the event that opens the nautical season in the Mediterranean.
At the end of this week, the commercial team of the event will initiate contacts with exhibitors and companies that have expressed their willingness to participate in the next edition of PIBS 2021. During the coming months, the fair will intensify its promotion through online channels since the Most of the international events of this 2020 to which the PIBS organization attended to promote themselves have suspended their celebration due to COVID-19.
The Palma nautical fair is one of the most important and long-awaited events for the sector at an international level. The Palma International BoatShow is one of the most outstanding actions to stimulate and promote Balearic sailing, since it has been a gateway for many companies that are now consolidated in the Islands, and has allowed local companies to open new channels for sale internationally.
