It features a high-resolution, sunlight-readable color display and is resistant to the conditions that some can handle in harsh marine environments. Of course, you can access satellite navigation from wherever you are, anywhere in the world. Garmin BlueChart® g3 that will offer greater definition.

Its 8 GB internal memory allows you to save up to 10,000 waypoints and 250 routes.

This evolution of the GPSMap 79s features a new sunlight-visible color display, providing improved contrast and eliminating fogging. It is 26% larger and 2.5 times higher resolution than the previous generation.

It has a single band GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) with which it can support multiple satellite navigation sensors (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS) guaranteeing coverage in any coordinate in the world.
