Marlow Ropes are excited to announce its sponsorship of the 2022 Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series – the largest and most popular weekend amateur racing series in North America.

The National Regatta Series has grown and evolved since its inception in 1988. Today, boats ranging from dinghies, multihulls, and keelboats that race under established handicap systems also compete in addition to larger production boats.

Marlow is the exclusive sponsor in the category of rigging and ropes and will support competitors and sustainability by upcycling lines collected at all five events. The company’s global reputation for quality, technical innovation and superior product performance has earned it the reputation as the world’s premium leisure marine rope brand.

“Marlow Ropes is pleased to support the Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series for 2022,” said Sam Vineyard, Sales Manager for the U.S. Leisure Marine market. “Marlow is committed to educating sailors to make the right choice in their rope needs, and we look forward to helping them get the right cordage for their boats to improve performance and ease of sailing.”

The series of three-day races and post-racing social activities kicks off in St. Petersburg, Florida on February 18 before moving to San Diego, California on March 25. The next stop is Annapolis, Maryland on May 13, then on to Chicago, Illinois June 10, and finally Marblehead, Massachusetts on July 28. The Championship will take place in the Caribbean in October.
