The freshly branded Germany F50 has been spotted for the first time in Chicago ahead of the newcomer team’s racing debut this weekend.
The team, the full line-up of which is yet to be announced, joined the rest of the F50 fleet for crucial practice time on the waters of Lake Michigan.
It comes after double Olympic bronze medallist Erik Heil was unveiled as the team’s driver, while double Olympic champion Kahena Kunze has stepped into the role of strategist.
Germany is the 10th national team to join the high-speed racing league of SailGP, and will battle it out for the Season 4 title.
