Garmin Striker Cast Portable Echosounder

Garmin Striker Cast Portable Echosounder

Garmin announces STRIKERTM Cast, the portable launch sonar that delivers images wirelessly that can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet.

STRIKER Cast is an echo sounder device that fishermen can take with them wherever they go, be it from the boat, the shore, a dock or even a kayak, to clearly see the seabed and structures directly on their smartphone or tablet thanks Free STRIKER Cast app, compatible with Apple® and AndroidTM devices.

With this new sonar, anglers will also be able to create their own fishing maps, for an even more detailed view of the shaping of the bottom.

Designed for use in fresh or salt water, STRIKER Cast offers excellent performance in both shallow and deep water, transmitting data and water temperature wirelessly over a distance of up to 60 meters.
Anglers can also activate the fish icons to make it easier to recognize targets and quickly identify their position; this will make it easier to identify exactly where to cast the hook.

Also available with built-in GPS, you can instantly create your own custom HD maps on any body of water using the Quickdraw Contours feature, a free and easy-to-use bottom writing tool.
The collected data can be stored within the STRIKER Cast app and anglers will be able to upload, download, or explore Quickdraw Contours data collected by other users in the Garmin QuickdrawTM community.

Easy to cast and built to last, STRIKER Cast is strong and lightweight. It turns on automatically when it comes into contact with water and turns off only when it recovers.
With a robust design, it is equipped with an internal USB rechargeable battery that allows a range of more than 10 hours between charges. It is also waterproof to IPX6 and IPX74 standards.

STRIKER Cast is now available in two versions: STRIKER Cast GPS at a price of € 199 and STRIKER Cast without GPS, at a price of € 149
