The first stage of the 2021 Circuito Atlántico Sur (South Atlantic Circuit ) was concluded, a championship that was organized by the Yacht Club Argentino in conjunction with the Yacht Club Punta del Este. This event had the perfect attendance of its 74 registered in the ORC International, ORC Club and PHRF formulas.
The day began with winds of between 6 and 7 knots from the North-northwest, conditions that allowed all the formulas to be released at 2:00 p.m., as stipulated. However, as the minutes passed, the wind decreased its intensity, which forced the cancellation of the race. The competitors received cold drinks and an individual snack, to celebrate the great championship with all the safety measures and then they returned to land.
In this way, the results remained unchanged and the winners, who will receive their respective prizes, were the following:
