Frauscher TimeSquare 20
Frauscher Bootswerft GmbH & Co KG, has launched the TimeSquare 20, a new electric boat that the company describes as “another milestone in its long history of innovation”.
The TimeSquare 20 is a double hull electric boat that includes a number of innovative features and has a very distinctive design. The result is propulsion technology that makes the boat extremely maneuverable and quiet.
With the TimeSquare 20, Frauscher has redefined electric boating.
The catamaran’s displacement is significantly less than that of a monohull. This reduces the energy requirement and therefore increases the range.
Whether sailing or at anchor, the TimeSquare 20 offers a large seating area and rest area. The double hull design also guarantees maximum stability and a feeling of well-being on board.
The TimeSquare 20 has two electric outboards with up to twice 10 kW of continuous power and a battery capacity of up to 30 kWh that provides efficient propulsion. They run so quietly even at high speeds.
Thanks to its innovative hull design, the TimeSquare 20 achieves a maximum speed and range similar to the Frauscher 740 Mirage Air, with significantly less energy expenditure.
It includes a cooler for cold drinks, sun protection for the entire boat, and a high-end sound system. Using high-end materials like carbon fiber not only looks good but also reduces weight.
The TimeSquare 20 not only offers a new dimension in design and comfort in the field of marine electric mobility, but also a quantum leap in terms of efficiency and range.
As for its name, the innovative hull shape allows for a large, walkable area on the deck: a “square” where one likes to spend “time.” The number 20 represents the usable area.
TimeSquare 20 owners have 20 square meters of space at their personal disposal.
