Cole Brauer

A huge recognition to Cole Brauer, who has won the title of 2024 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year in the United States.

A prestigious and well-deserved award following her participation in the GSC2023.

The announcement from US Sailing states: Cole Brauer made history and captivated the global sailing community during the inaugural Global Solo Challenge, a non-stop, solo round-the-world race designed to reduce the costs and environmental impact of offshore racing.

Competing aboard her Class 40 First Light, Brauer took second place in the race, becoming the first American woman to sail solo around the world.
