BOSTON WHALER PRESENTS THE NEW “420 OUTRAGE” 50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Boston Whaler introduced its version of the 420 Outrage for 50 years since the original was first released.
The Anniversary Edition offers the same features as the original model, but with the latest technology, updated styling, and new options.
The 420 Outrage Anniversary Edition combines superior comfort and capability with enhanced styling and unsurpassed performance.
She is a powerful next-generation offshore cruiser that represents the future of the Whaler brand.
It has a triple Mercury FourStroke Verado V12 600 hp with joystick, and a fuel capacity of 700 gallons.
A black hardtop gives the 420 a sleek, sophisticated look that is matched by new upholstery contrast stitching and Sea Gray color scheme.
Inside the cabin, darker colors and updated finishes, including metallic accents, make the space feel larger and more inviting.
The Outrage is a deep sea fishing platform with all the features and options to provide a competitive advantage. The Deluxe Cabin Bait / Slant Pole Prep Center includes a 40-gallon insulated nursery, freshwater sink, tackle storage drawers, and a solid-surface countertop, along with a refrigerator and electric grill. An additional 24 gallon vivarium can be found in the corner of the aft port.
For added fishing advantage, the optional Flybridge includes a full rudder control box with VesselView display and DTS throttle and shift, a three-passenger bench seat with individual flip-up gussets, and an upper station saloon in front of the helm.
The 420 Outrage has a beefed-up-style helm and passenger row seats, with port and starboard seats that pivot to face aft. An inclined post cushion on the front side of the prep station also converts to form a three-person bench seat, providing a second row of seats behind the helm. A fold-down aft bench provides additional seating capacity if required.
Ahead of the helm, a sprawling console saloon features fold-down armrests and cup holders, and elevators to reveal a cavernous storage space below. The bucket seats at the front of the boat face a teak bow table, making it a natural gathering area.
Below deck, large curtained side windows and opening port lights let in plenty of natural light. A convertible double bunk bed and a convertible pull-out sofa provide space for four people to sleep comfortably.
Boston Whaler planned a series of events to kick off the new model. The Homecoming Tour will feature stops at locations along the U.S. East Coast, beginning with a launch event in August in New York City
