Changes in regulations allow international exhibitors and visitors to attend the Boot Düsseldorf
The German federal government has decided that trade fair participants “are generally considered business travelers with good reason to enter Germany.”
As reported by the Düsseldorf Boat Show, upon entering Germany, exhibitors at the fair must present a confirmation of participation from the fair organizer as proof. Boot exhibitors can download an admission document (Online Order System (OOS) in the online ordering system.
Visitors to the fair must present their entrance ticket and also proof of an appointment for a business meeting with at least one exhibitor. This regulation applies with immediate effect and without exception to all trade fair participants from countries that are currently not included in the German positive list or that are included under conditions in the German positive list.
As indicated by the fair, more information on this subject can be found in the frequently asked questions of the Federal Ministry of the Interior under the question “Which qualified and highly qualified foreign workers can enter Germany from a non-European foreign country?”:
According to the current status of the CoronaEinrVO of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia dated October 7, 2020 (current corona entry regulation of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia), persons entering Germany from areas of risk must present a negative corona test, which must be performed no more than 48 hours before entering the Federal Republic of Germany. For the start of the 48-hour period, the moment at which the test result is determined is decisive. The test result or medical certificate must be kept for at least 14 days after entry. Keep in mind that due to dynamic development, the situation can change at any time.
The Messe Düsseldorf that hosts the Boot also relies on its proven “PROTaction” safety system for the boat show. The campaign for the implementation of hygiene and infection protection standards has already been successfully tested at this year’s CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, proving that leisure time trade shows can be held successfully under the special conditions.
