VENDÉE GLOBE CLOSING CEREMONY
On Saturday 10th May, the town of Les Sables d’Olonne will be witnessing one last great Vendée Globe moment before the 2028 edition.
PROGRAMME
6.30PM – 8PM FRENCH TIME // NAUTICAL PARADE
The skippers will pass through the legendary channel in a great nautical parade. This time, it won’t be on board their IMOCA boats, but on shared boats, specially set up for the occasion. A festive moment to applaud them, celebrate them, and share with them the magic of this adventure!
10.30PM // EVENING SHOW
The night will be lit up with a grandiose show combining 1,000 drones and fireworks ( launched from the end of the channel). A premiere in Les Sables to celebrate this 10th edition of the Vendée Globe in style. The best place to enjoy the show is from the waterfront and the beach.
